President from Sakhalin University Paid a Visit to Harbin Vocational & Technical College

September 12, 2017-President from Sakhalin University paid a visit to Harbin Vocational & Technical College. Our Party Secretary Liu Min, President Liu Shen, Vice-president Liu Jianguo, Department of International Cooperation and relevant departments received his delegation.

President and his delegation paid visits to the practical training rooms of School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Art & Design, School of Electronics and Information Engineering and School of Electric Engineering and had conversations with our teachers. He spoke highly of our advanced and sophisticated practical training equipment and had an overall understanding of issues he was interested such as specialty setting, curriculum development and teaching models. And he talked with our teachers about feasibilities of conducting professional skills training. Then, the delegation visited the exhibition room of Harbin Vocational Education Park and President Liu Shen introduced the planning and construction.

After that, we held a meeting in which two sides communicated on the further cooperation. Party Secretary Liu Min welcomed President from Sakhalin University and his delegation and introduced Harbin Vocational & Technical College ’s development, size and disciplines, hoping two sides could have cooperation and exchanges in some fields in which both of us have common interests.  

Two sides made agreement on jointly cultivate  air attendants for “China-Russia International Airline Route”, which had broadened our cooperative fields between Harbin Vocational & Technical College  and universities from Russia. This visit paid by President from Sakhalin University enabled Harbin Vocational & Technical College  become the platform of friendship, partnership and a sharing platform, making contributions to the development of “Belt and Road”Initiative and “Longjiang Silk Road Belt”.
