Harbin Vocational & Technical College Ranks Top 50 National Higher Vocational Colleges with High International Influence 

July 15, Beijing-National Joint Conference of Vocational & Technical College Presidents held a press conference on annual report of 2017 China Higher Vocational Education Quality. Our college was selected as one of Top 50 Higher Vocational Colleges with High International Influence. This was the second time our college was ranked top 50 among national colleges and universities after our college ranked Top 50 Service Contributors among Higher Vocational Colleges.

In 2016, an “international influence measurement sheet” was released to the society, containing following seven indicators: numbers of full-time foreign students from overseas (or outside mainland), numbers of trainings of part-time trainees from overseas (or outside mainland), the duration time of internship of full-time students serving enterprises “going globe”, the duration time for the full-time teachers instructing enterprises “going globe”, numbers of full-time teachers taking responsibilities in organizations from overseas (or outside mainland), numbers of industries or programs developed that foreign countries recognize and the numbers of prizes won in the world skill competitions. These indicators could show the colleges’international influence, thus, in accordance with the requirements of “Inviting inside, going globe”and sharing and constructing with the world, our college was ranked Top 50.
