October 19-21, 2017, Nanjing-“2017 The Second International Summit for Vocational Education And the Forum on China Vocational Education International Cooperation and Industry Education Integration” was held in Nanjing. This summit was co-sponsored by Messe Stuttgart (Germany) and China External Cooperation Alliance of Vocational Education (CECAVE), with the focus on the themes of international cooperation, industry and education integration, China-Germany Cooperation, the Belt and Road and green development. The delegates would have deep discussions on experiences and achievements of international cooperation on vocational education and industry and education integration and talents’ cultivation and share the best practice of vocational education around the globe, the latest equipment and technologies of vocational education and most updated development trends in applied fields of vocational education. There were foreign professional vocational experts and educators from more than ten countries and regions including Germany, US, UK, Australia, Philippines, among others. The summit also attracted more than 200 higher vocational colleges and educational institutions all over the country to attend this forum, which has established an international platform for experts and educators from home and abroad. It is a grand conference for Chinese vocational education to conduct international cooperation and industry and education integration which is featuring high-level, open and win-win cooperation. Our vice-president Liu Jianguo led a delegation to attend this summit and delivered a speech with the title of “Taking multi-channel approaches to conduct international cooperation and constantly improving international influence”.

Vice-president Liu Jianguo in his speech introduced college development in recent years as well as construction situation of vocational education park and shared with the participants our international cooperation development, achievements and vision of our future development. Leaders, participants, experts and guests spoke highly of our international cooperation development.

During this summit, Vice-president Liu Jianguo also paid a visit to “Education+” International Vocational Education Exhibition to know about the most advanced curriculum and teaching resources in the world, explore college-running modes in multi channels and communicate with representatives from enterprises to establish contacts for future college-enterprise cooperation.
